What is Basketball?

Basketball is a high energy team sport played on a rectangular court with a hoop at each end. Each team consists of five players who work together to score points by shooting the ball through the opponent’s hoop.

Basketball is considered a high-impact sport due to its fast pace, requiring quick movements, jumps, and intense physical contact. It is excellent for improving cardiovascular fitness, coordination, and teamwork.
