Gamer Academy School Holiday Program

Gamer Academy is an interactive 2 day workshop where teens learn about and experience many different areas of gaming.

Held on Tuesday (21st) and Wednesday (22nd) January at Michael Clarke Recreation Centre, Carnes Hill.

Each day starts at 9:30am and will finish around 4:30pm with parents welcome to come along to join the last session each day (from 4pm).

Learn directly from highly qualified and accredited instructors and hear from industry experts on what makes a great game, how to play, what is E-sports, how to make it a career and much more.

- Meet like-minded teens
- Balance a healthy lifestyle in gaming
- Talk to experts and gaming personalities
- Pathways into a gaming career

The workshop has 2 ticket options
- BYO Device - for those with a laptop and willing to bring it along - you will then be able to take home your work and designs
- Device Provided - you can use a computer provided within the workshop, however tickets for this are limited.

Please bring a packed lunch for both days - Healthy snacks and water will be provided.

Event Details

Gamer Academy is coming to Liverpool these summer school holidays! Offered for teens aged 14 – 17 years the interactive 2-day program looks at the fundamentals of game design, game art and coding as well as e-sports and competitions.
